Saltation is an acoustic trio, based near Ashby de la Zouch. They comprise Fiona (vocals) who is the newest member, Jon (vocals, guitar) and Dave (vocals, guitar, mandolin, ukulele). Jon and Dave have been performing together for well over ten years at clubs, festivals and events.

Performing a mix of mainly British and American folk and not-so-folk music, they particularly like finding and creating alternative arrangements of familiar songs.

Fiona has the voice, Dave does the twiddly bits and Jon, well, no-one really knows what he does but, when he’s not there, there’s a big hole in the sound.
